1. Data Collection and Usage

SafeTabCraft is designed to operate entirely locally on your device.

• Web History & Tabs: The extension requires the "tabs" permission to read the URLs and titles of your currently open browser tabs. This is strictly required to perform core functionalities: detecting duplicate tabs, grouping tabs by domain, and enabling the Quick Search feature.
• No Remote Servers: We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell your web history, browsing activity, or personal data to any external servers or third parties. All processing happens locally within your browser.

2. Storage

The extension uses local browser storage to save your user preferences, such as custom group names, colors, whitelists, and blacklists. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to us.

3. Payments (Pro Version)

If you choose to upgrade to the Pro version, payments are processed securely through a third-party service, ExtensionPay, which uses Stripe. We do not collect, process, or have access to your credit card information or payment details. Please refer to ExtensionPay and Stripe's respective privacy policies for how they handle payment data.

4. Third-Party Analytics

We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising frameworks within the extension.

5. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Effective Date".
